In case you had not heard, today starting at approximately 2:30 EST North Korea, over a four-hour period, launched five missiles. One of them a Taepodong-2 long-range ballistic missile capable of reaching the west coast of the United States.
In addition to this, it is has long been understood that North Korea is at least close to becoming a Nuclear power, if they aren't already.
However, in response to the missile launches today, the Bush Administration stated that it was a "provocation" but not "an immediate threat" to United States.
So, riddle me this, how is it that a country that openly and repeatedly claim to be a nuclear power and that has the missile capabilities to reach and attack the US is not a threat to our security, but a rouge nation in the Middle East who's weapons program was sketchy at best warranted a full military invasion, occupation and now "rebuilding?"
